We’re bringing Fattoria di Magliano’s amazing wines to our customers in Ireland.

At A Taste of Italy, we’re excited to share that we’ve teamed up with Fattoria di Magliano, a fantastic young vineyard in the beautiful Maremma region of Tuscany. Started in 1996 by Agostino Lenci, who traded his successful footwear career for his love of winemaking, this estate covers 97 hectares of scenic hills that gently slope towards the Tyrrhenian Sea. 🌱✨🍇

The winery, the vineyard and the cellar: tradition meets innovation

Fattoria di Magliano is all about organic farming, a practice they’ve mastered over the years, earning full organic certification for all their wines since 2016. The winery enjoys nutrient-rich soil and a perfect climate for growing both red and white grapes. While Sangiovese, Vermentino, and Ansonica are their main stars, they’ve also added Syrah and Cabernet Franc to the mix, thanks to the favorable Mediterranean climate.

This blend of tradition and innovation results in a diverse, top-quality range of wines that showcase the unique charm of the Maremma region, bringing a taste of Tuscany to your table. 🍾🌿🍇🇮🇹

The cellar at Fattoria di Magliano is an impressive 1,500 square meter facility spread over two floors, with one underground. Down there, you’ll find thirty-two stainless steel vats and ten cement vats, where the magic of winemaking and storage happens. There are also two barrique cellars and rooms above ground for tasting, bottling, and aging the wines.
