THE PRODUCER : Ciacci Piccolomini D’Aragona
Aging: 24 months in 20-85 hl Slavonian oak barrels, followed by a minimum of 4 month period of bottle ageing.
Vineyards: 16,5 hectares (41,35 acres) of soils of medium grain with good levels of marl dating from the Eocene period. The altitude of the vineyards varies from 240 to 360 metres above sea level. From these vineyards we select the best grapes for the production of our Brunello di Montalcino Vintage.
Nose: The bouquet is intense, fruit-forward, spicy and floral with hints of red berry fruits enriched by delicate spicy notes.
Taste: Warm, soft and very well balanced on the palate; structured with soft tannins and long aftertaste.
